Our Expectations From Ourselves

  • We expect our teachers to treat children with respect, courtesy and care at all times and to refrain from imposing any harsh form of discipline, including corporal punishment.

  • We expect our teachers to build a strong mutually supportive and trusting relationship with their students, their parents and their colleagues.

  • We keep our class size small in order to enable our teachers to give individual attention to each child and to foster her growth at her own pace.

  • Our teachers will endeavour to make learning an enjoyable and non-burdensome process. Homework shall be kept to a minimum, especially in the junior classes and shall be given only when considered necessary and useful.

  • Our teachers are expected not to accept gifts on any occasion from parents.

  • Our teachers are expected not to take extra tuition classes for any child studying in our school without explicit written permission from the Principal.

  • We expect our teachers to work in a spirit of co-operation with our parents, to be responsive to parents' concerns regarding their children and to invite parental involvement frequently.
