We expect our
teachers to treat children with respect, courtesy and care at all
times and to refrain from imposing any harsh form of discipline,
including corporal punishment.

We expect our
teachers to build a strong mutually supportive and trusting
relationship with their students, their parents and their colleagues.

We keep our
class size small in order to enable our teachers to give individual
attention to each child and to foster her growth at her own pace.

Our teachers
will endeavour to make learning an enjoyable and non-burdensome
process. Homework shall be kept to a minimum, especially in the junior
classes and shall be given only when considered necessary and useful.

Our teachers
are expected not to accept gifts on any occasion from parents.

Our teachers
are expected not to take extra tuition classes for any child studying
in our school without explicit written permission from the Principal.

We expect our
teachers to work in a spirit of co-operation with our parents, to be
responsive to parents' concerns regarding their children and to invite
parental involvement frequently.
