Introduction

At Anand Niketan, our philosophy is very simple. We believe that children are like seeds, containing all the potential inside it to grow into wonderful human beings. All they require is a little bit of guidance and a lot of love and they are on their way - discovering their own paths and creating their own destinies.

At Anand Niketan, each child is special - and it is this quality that we nurture and cherish. Every child is given the platform to express herself and to grow at her own pace. It is here that the seed are sown for a promising future!

Anank Niketan started in 1996 with only 20 children and 2 classes. By the year 2000 we had 360 children and 16 classes. Our philosophy is very simple - we are dedicated to providing children with a stress free and enjoyable learning experience.

With a committed and hard working staff of experienced educators, Anand Niketan is constantly setting new standards in education. Anand Niketan is spread over 4 acres of rolling landscaped gardens away from the hustle bustle of city life, and yet close enough not to cut off.

We believe in facilitating the learning process through experiments, camps, hands on projects and real life experiences. It is an established fact that if you enjoy what you do, you never forget it. And at Anand Niketan, we believe in learning for life and not for exams!

The most enduring relationship are based on trust, whether it is of a mother and child or that of the teacher and pupil.

Giving our children a strong sense of right and wrong is a very important teaching at Anand Niketan.

A sense of fairplay, decency, respect for elders, team work and hard work are the foundations of all our teaching. It is more important to us, that our children become good human first, than be able to compete in any exam.

A desire to excel in whatever they do is another guiding principle at Anand Niketan. Value based teaching is included in every day life and not taught as a separate subject.

No education is complete if it does not benefit the society at large. At Anand Niketan our children must be given the proper guidance that will make them conscious to the disparities in our society and develop a keen sense of community service.

Our children are given exposure to real life situations, they conduct and participate in socially relevant causes, help children who are not as privileged as themselves and therefore get prepared for life in its truest sense.
